Community Guidelines
Welcome to Bunchups! These guidelines are here to help you get the most out of your experience — whether you’re planning a Bunchup, joining one, or simply exploring. We want to foster a warm, safe, and respectful community for all our users. Please read these carefully before getting started.
What is a Bunchup?
A Bunchup is a small gathering designed to create meaningful connections — usually one-on-one or with a small group of people. Unlike large events, Bunchups focus on shared interests in a friendly, low-pressure setting.
Getting Started
When you’re exploring Bunchups or planning one yourself, keep these in mind:
For Planners (Hosts):
- Choose a clear and specific activity that fits your interests and invite others to join in.
- Pick a safe, accessible location for in-person gatherings or a reliable platform for virtual ones.
- Be clear about the date, time, and any materials or items participants should bring.
- Keep the group small and manageable — typically between 2 and 6 people.
- Be welcoming and communicate clearly with participants before and during the Bunchup.
For Participants (Guests):
- Read the activity details carefully and confirm your attendance promptly.
- Respect the planner’s instructions and the time commitments agreed upon.
- Bring any materials or items requested by the host.
- Be courteous to everyone and help create a positive experience for the group.
Safety Tips
Your safety is our priority. Always take the following precautions when joining or hosting Bunchups:
- Meet in public, well-lit places, especially for your first time with a group or individual.
- Share your plans with a trusted friend or family member.
- If meeting online, use secure platforms and avoid sharing personal details too soon.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, don’t hesitate to leave or cancel.
- Follow local health guidelines, including COVID-19 safety measures.
